Meet Scott Feddes
Meet Scott Feddes, RMSI’s certified energy specialist (CES).
“I’m here to help RMSI customers right size their storage tanks, choose the right fuels and lubricants for their equipment and manage their energy purchases,” says the CES who has worked with RMSI customers for a year now. “I also trouble-shoot any energy problems.”
“I’m not here to sell you something,” he says. “I’m just here to help.”
Scott was born in Bozeman and grew up in White Sulphur Springs. He earned a marketing degree from Montana State University in Bozeman and worked in sales with the John Deere dealer in Belgrade for 10 years.
“I enjoy the farm and ranch lifestyle and being around the customers, and it was super-fun to see all the new stuff John Deere came out with,” says Scott.Scott left the dealership to build and patent a GPS bracket for John Deere equipment. Then, when his boys reached high school, Scott decided to switch horses. He landed the job of CES with CENEX and RMSI.“I missed the customer interaction, and selling fuel and lubricants was a good fit with my equipment background,” says Scott, who also noted that RMSI has a great reputation, and during the interview process, he met many people with the same interests.
“One of the most valuable things Scott does is help our customers decide the right time to buy,” says Jason Rorabaugh, RMSI energy division manager. “He’s a good listener who tries to understand what the customer wants and to come up with the very best solution.”
