Energy Admin Assistant
Position Objective: Run the Energy office in an approachable, efficient, and practical manner to optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve operational efficiency, achieve the cooperative’s mission and vision, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Record Keeping:
- Keep the accounting system accurate and up to date.
- Keep the office running efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure we are staying current on daily paperwork.
- Invoice sales in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory and accounts payable.
- Understand and work in the accounting program.
- Maintain up-to-date price lists, both on the computer and hard copy.
- Keep filing up to date and in neat order.
- Work well with all departments and employees.
- Convey a positive attitude with customers and fellow employees.
2. Customer Service
- This position will have contact with the client through the phone or in person when the client comes into the office. Always be friendly and respectful.
3. Skills Necessary for Job Performance- Intermediate computer and typing skills
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping ex:(accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills.
4. Personal Attributes Desired: - Honest, hardworking, and dependable.
- Able to get along with employees and customers.
- Be company-oriented, willing to go the extra mile for the whole company and its patrons.
- Use common courtesy when dealing with customers or with company personnel.
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Livestock Nutrition Sales (LNS)
Position Objective:
To market and sell feed, fencing, and animal health products and services to optimize Rocky Mountain Supply’s market share and profitability while achieving the cooperative’s mission, vision, and goals, resulting in outstanding customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Specific Job Duties
- Responsibilities involve sales, service, safety, reporting, and other duties assigned by management.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of Rocky Mountain Supply to all.
- Ensures that all products ordered and or delivered are properly inventoried and invoiced.
2. Skills Necessary for Job Performance: - Have a good understanding of the products we sell and know how they are used.
- Willing to meet the needs of the customer in a timely manner.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to drive year-round in all weather conditions.
- Have the ability to think clearly and organize.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
3. Personal Attributes Desired: - Honest. Hardworking and dependable.
- Friendly and have a good attitude.
- Service-oriented and able to work with a variety of clientele.
- Able to meet and talk with clients and potential clients.
4. Experience and Licensing Requirements: - Working knowledge of livestock production, nutrition, and husbandry.
- Agricultural experience is required.
- Clean driving record.
Customer Sales: Sales include assisting in establishing sales goals, developing and executing a marketing plan, increasing sales of feed, fencing, and animal health products, and related services. Making recommendations of products sold, pricing of products and services, maintaining current shareholders, and assisting in developing competitive marketing strategies.

Customer Service:
Provide the necessary services to meet the needs of existing RMS accounts and to develop new customer accounts.
