Feeds-N-Needs Acqusition

Dear Feeds-N-Needs Patrons: 

We are pleased to inform you that Rocky Mountain Supply will be acquiring the feed and fencing product supply business of Feeds-N-Needs and Pat Goggins. The transition in ownership is planned to take place on or about November 1, 2024. Many of you may already be familiar with Rocky Mountain Supply (RMS), but for those of you who are not. RMS is a farm, ranch, consumer, and commercial supply cooperative based out of Belgrade, MT, with locations in the Montana communities of Belgrade, Dillon, Townsend, and Ennis. RMS currently has farm, ranch, and home stores in Belgrade, Dillon, and Townsend. RMs as an organization dates back to the 1930s and was formed as a cooperative at the time by farmers and ranchers of Southwest Montana to provide them the products and services that were needed to run their operations but were unable to economically access them on their own. RMS was formed in 1999 with the merger of two local cooperatives, Gallatin Farmers Company and Co-op Supply of Dillon. Today, RMS serves approximately 6,000 active members/patrons across southwest Montana. As a locally owned cooperative, we distribute our profits back to our members through our patronage dividend program. If you are currently not a member of RMS, I highly encourage you to become one. RMS has a history of paying significant patronage dividends back to our members each year. Enclosed is a brochure highlighting our Patronage Dividend program.

As many of you know, RMS has a convenience store located in Ennis directly across the highway from the ranch from which Pat Goggins operates his Feeds-N-Needs business. RMS plans to build a feed & fencing product warehouse along with an outdoor fencing yard on the same site as RMS’ newly remodeled convenience store. Construction on the warehouse and fencing yard has begun! RMS also plans to invest in additional people resources to serve the Feeds-N-Needs customers who will transition to RMS as customers. RMS also plans to add some products to complement the feed and fencing business within the Ennis convenience store.

Once the transition takes place, we plan to maintain the business hours established by Pat Goggins with the Feeds-N-Needs business. This will apply to the hours of the feed warehouse, and fencing yard will be open for customers to purchase feed and fencing products. These hours are Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:30 pm), Saturday (8:00 am - 2:30 pm), and Sunday (Closed). The store hours are Monday - Saturday (6:00 am - 9:00 pm) and Sunday (7:00 am - 8:00 pm).
